City Services
Water and sewer services may be arranged for by coming to the customer
service window in Millbrae City Hall and make a request for these services. This
simple form must be completed prior to setting up your account for service with
the City. New customers are required to pay a $50 deposit.
Water service is currently billed based on the amount of water used plus a
standard daily service charge. This service is provided by the Millbrae Public
Works Department. Sewer service is also provided by the Millbrae Public Works
Department. These two services are included as a portion of your bi-monthly
Millbrae Municipal Utilities bill.
Garbage Service
Garbage service is provided to residents by the privately-owned South San
Francisco Scavenger Company. This firm also provides curbside recycling. You can
reach them by calling 650-589-4020.
Electrical Service
Electrical service is provided to the Millbrae residents by Pacific Gas and
Electric, or PG&E. Customers may arrange for electrical service by calling
1-800-743-5000.
Telephone Service
Telephone service within Millbrae is provided by Pacific Bell Telephone.
Residential service may be arranged by calling 1-800-310-2355.
Cable TV Service
Cable TV service is provided to Millbrae residents by Comcast Cable Services and
service may be arranged by calling 800-945-2288.
Parks and Recreation Program
The City offers a number of recreational activities through the Parks and
Recreation division of the City's Parks & Recreation Department. That department
may be reached at 650-259-2360.
Schools
The City of Millbrae is part of the Millbrae Elementary School District for K-8
public education, the San Mateo Union High School District for 9-12 public
education, and the San Mateo Community College District for college-level
education. Information regarding local public schools or colleges can be
obtained by visiting the websites of the Millbrae Elementary School District and
the San Mateo Union High School District.
